Mr. Lowell Jackman, age 84, passed away on January 31, 2023.

Lowell was born in Aurora, IL, to Frank Jackman and Florella Jackman. Lowell married Janice Jackman of Indianapolis, Indiana on June 30, 1972, in South Bend, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank Jackman, his mother Florella Jackman (Sunleaf), and brother Dale Jackman.

Lowell is survived by his wife Janice L Jackman, his sons Stephen Jackman (Kathy) and Kevin Jackman (Ann), of South Bend. His stepchildren Pamala Evans (Miller) of Indianapolis, Timothy Miller of South Bend, Thomas Miller (Denise) of North Liberty, Penny Hall (Miller) of Marengo and Ted Miller (Dawn) of Mishawaka.

Lowell also loved by his eleven (11) grandchildren, twelve (12) great grandchildren, one (1) niece and three (3) nephews.

Lowell passed peacefully at home with family after a long illness. Lowell received a bachelor's degree from Cornell of Iowa and was co-owner of Star Benefit Associates in Indianapolis, IN, founded in 1987. He then retired in 2016. Lowell was known for his dry wit, sense of humor and big heart. Lowell enjoyed crossword puzzles and dining out. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and had season tickets for many years. Lowell also loved Colts football and spending time with his family. He was very proud of all his children. He and Jan were fortunate to spend many years together traveling and enjoying good meals at a variety of restaurants.
