Louree Boles

Louree Boles, of Indianapolis, Indiana, age 95 quietly passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Louree was born on April 22,1930, in Cuthbert, Georgia to the late Willie Mae White (Rogers) and Arrelious White. The family lived in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Tennessee and later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended Crispus Attucks High School.

Upon learning the truth of God’s Word, Louree dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication by being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses late in the 1940’s at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in a horse trough. She often spoke of Jehovah’s Great Day and longing to see it. Her faith was strong until the end.

Louree was a domestic worker and was loved by the families she worked for, many of them considered her a part of their family. Louree was a hard worker; there wasn’t any job she could not or would not do. Besides cleaning houses, Louree had a green thumb, she enjoyed growing all sorts of plants and flowers. In her garden you could find collard greens and tomatoes being grown. She was an excellent cook, and she made the best yeast rolls. Louree also loved to sew.

Louree is survived by her daughter, Nannette Blake; her granddaughters Natasha Luddington, Nicole Luddington and Gennifer Schaefer (Ryan); and great-grandchildren, Mazen Haddad, Leila Haddad, Thomas Cole Schaefer and Evan Blake Schaefer, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Louree was preceded in death by her sons, George Joseph Luddington, Jr. and Timothy White; father, Arrelious White, mother, Willie Mae White (Rogers); sisters, Susie Mae White, Martha James, Bessie Almas; brothers, Eurious Cornelius White, Rochester White and Theophilus White.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 4:30pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 5667A Moller Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46254
