Lori Anne Dabrowski of Indianapolis entered eternal life on Monday, August 31st. She was 62.

Lori was born in Chicago, Illinois to Steve and Carol Dabrowski on January 23, 1964. She moved to Indianapolis with her family as a child, then to Greenfield, Indiana where she graduated from Greenfield-Central in 1982.

A resident of Rosewalk Assisted Living in Indianapolis, Lori loved socializing and visiting with her neighbors. She enjoyed her life at Rosewalk, playing games, touring sites around Indianapolis, singing karaoke and visiting with friends.

Lori was known for her outgoing nature—she truly never met a stranger. From childhood, she loved arts and crafts. She was also a devoted pet parent to several animals, but her loves were her dogs, Marci and Sophie.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mario and Dorothy Dodaro, Chicago, IL; her mother and stepfather, Carol and Richard Autry, Indianapolis; and her father, Steve Dabrowski, Indianapolis.

She is survived by her sister Carleen Peaper (Paul), Indianapolis; brother Steve Dabrowski (Alma), Evansville; stepsister Kelly Autry, Carmel; stepsister, Lisa Autry (Jeff Eller), Bloomington; nephew Paul Peaper (Kelsey), Indianapolis; niece Lucia Dabrowski, Evansville; great nieces Ava and Astrid Peaper; step-nieces and nephews Aly, Jake, Robby, Gabrielle and Ryan; step-great nieces and nephews.

Lori’s family would like to thank Rosewalk Assisted Care for making Lori’s last year’s comfortable and happy.

A private grave-side memorial will be celebrated by family and close friends.
