Lorene Pile

Lorene M. (Ash/Hardesty) Pile, 97 years young. God accepted Lorene into his arms on September 16th, 2023. She passed away quietly in her sleep at home.

Lorene is survived by her daughter, Linda A (Hardesty/Weintraut) Todd (Rick Fatout), 3 grandchildren, Craig A Sandefur (Deborah Coy), Leslie (Sandefur) Wallace (Jason Wallace), and James Weintraut; 8 great grand-children, Emma Sandefur, Mark Sandefur, Rayn Wallace, Brady Wallace, Sydney Wallace, James R Smith, Elexis Weintraut, and Ray Weintraut; 2 sisters, Mary (Ash) Gilles (Silverdale, WA) and Janet (Ash) Lee (Shelbyville, IN), and too many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews to list.

She is preceded in death by Carey E Ash (father), Grace M (Reed) Ash (mother), 2 children, Patricia J (Hardesty) Sandefur and Sandra K Hardesty, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Lorene worked for the many years at the AT&P Company, The Shelbyville News, and the Shelbyville High School. Lorene was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle church, Indianapolis, IN.

Lorene requested to be laid to rest without a funeral service but with a memorial service pending. She will be laid to rest in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, IN.

Heaven gained another angel.
