He also worked as the store manager for Dennys and Cici Pizza for several years. He loved to work with the customers and meet new people. He was the life of any party, and you could count on him to crack jokes and make everyone laugh. If he was making you laugh, Lonnie’s love tank was full. Lonnie's compassion and dedication shone through his role as the founder of the Super Survivor Cancer group. This organization, which he started, aimed to support cancer patients by designing and selling cancer-themed merchandise, with all proceeds going to the Franciscan Cancer Center. His efforts were instrumental in assisting new patients with copays, gas, food, and other essential needs. Lonnie also organized gatherings, providing a platform for survivors to share a meal and fellowship, fostering a sense of community and support. His selflessness and commitment to helping others serve as an inspiration to us all.
