Lois Ann Nohlechek, born on July 7, 1949, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 76 years old. Lois's early childhood was spent in the embrace of her family, who relocated to Indianapolis when she was young, where she would continue to build a life filled with love and community engagement.

Lois dedicated over two decades to her career as a printer for P.A.R Printed Forms, where her meticulous craft was a reflection of her character. She later retired after 25 years from Meijer, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and commitment.

Her educational journey included her time at Harry E. Wood High School, where she developed the foundation for her lifelong pursuits. Lois was an avid bowler, participating in several bowling leagues that contributed to her vibrant social life. Her passion for NBA basketball brought her immense joy, often leading her to make friendly wagers on the games. Lois enjoyed traveling and baking delights that she frequently shared with her beloved family and friends.

Lois was a proud member of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 390, actively engaging in the organization's mission. She regularly attended Greenwood United Methodist Church, further solidifying her connection to her community and her faith.

Lois's is survived by her son, Stephen Nohlechek (Kim); brother, Rev. Joe Williams; granddaughters, Kirstyn Nohlechek (Austin Stevens) and Klayre Nohlechek; great-grandson, Sullivan; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished her presence in their lives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna D. Williams.

A Memorial Gathering in honor of Lois will take place on March 14, 2026, at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, located at 2433 E. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46143, starting at 5:00 PM and concluding at 6:30 PM. Eastern Star service will be held at the same location from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Lois Ann Nohlechek leaves behind a legacy of friendship, family and dedication that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
