Lloyd Gail Stout III, 73, peacefully passed away after a brief illness on October 24, 2025. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on September 12, 1952, to parents L. Gail Jr. and Patricia Stout.
A 1970 graduate of Arlington High School, Lloyd dedicated his career to interpreting for the Deaf community. His work included positions at the Indiana School for the Deaf, Ivy Tech Community College, Defense Finance & Accounting Services, and Sorensen Communications.
He was a member of CODA International (Children of Deaf Adults) and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
Outside of his professional life, Lloyd enjoyed mowing the lawn and spending time on his Harley-Davidson Road King.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Stout and daughter Kellen Stout.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L. Gail Jr. and Patricia Stout; his stepmother, Catherine Stout; grandparents, L. Gail and Anna Stout; and his sister, Kimberly Stout.
The family will hold private services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lloyd’s memory to the Indiana School for the Deaf, 1200 East 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205.
