Lisa Kay Gordon, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 61. A loving mother, a cherished friend, and a radiant soul, Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born on October 2, 1963, in Indianapolis, Lisa lived her life with strength, compassion, and an unwavering sense of independence. She was a woman of incredible resilience, known for always putting others before herself. Whether it was offering a kind word, a helping hand, or simply being present, Lisa took care of those around her with grace and sincerity.
One of Lisa’s greatest joys was spending time with her daughter, Lexie. From getting their hair and nails done together to enjoying quiet moments crafting and creating, their bond was one of love and laughter. Lisa had a gift for bringing light into every room she entered. Her presence was magnetic—joyful, warm, and full of life.
Lisa is survived by her beloved daughter, Alexandria (Lexie) Gordon; her nephew, Travis Gordon; cousins Cindy and Mike Gordon; niece Tracy Gordon; second cousin Diego Brea-Gordon; and her great-nieces Indica, Roxy, Luna, and Renee Gordon. She was preceded in death by her mother Hazel Belcher, her father William Gordon, and her brothers Jerry and Tony Gordon.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held this summer in Indianapolis, where family and friends will come together to honor Lisa’s memory, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Details will be shared soon.
