Lindsey Marie Lewis, 37 of Greenfield, passed away in her home peacefully on Oct. 27, 2021, after a nearly yearlong battle with brain cancer.
Lindsey was an elementary education teacher for over a decade before becoming a registered nurse with Community Hospital in Indianapolis.
Lindsey was a caregiver to all who met her. She never met a stranger.
"It's all good," she would say.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Lewis; and loving companion of 22 years, Joe Givens.
Lindsey was preceded in passing away by her brother, Kristopher Lewis.
As Lindsey was an avid animal lover, per her request, please donate to your local animal shelter or the Animal Protection League in Anderson in place of flowers or other funeral contributions.
