Linda Lou Shaffer

Linda Lou (Osborne) Shaffer, 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at her home.

She was born April 21, 1946 in Indianapolis to the the late Leland Jerry and Opal Naomi (Chastain) Osborne.

Linda married the love of her life, George Shaffer on July 25, 1964, and together they spent the next 46 years together until his passing in 2011. 

Linda is survived by her children, Steven (Karen) Shaffer, Robin (Brent) Wethington; grandchildren Shayna (Almir) Mulaomerovic, Sam Williams, Spencer Shaffer and great grandchildren, Edin Mulaomerovic and Emi Mulaomerovic.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Shaffer and brothers, Robert Osborne and Donald Osborne. 

Linda loved spending time with her family and adored her dogs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Petty officiating.

Burial to immediately follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
