Linda (Dickey) Girard passed away on December 29, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1948, to E. Benjamin Dickey and Hilda (Lerch) Dickey in Winchester, IN. She spent her childhood in Greens Fork, IN and graduated from Hagerstown High School. She attended Purdue University and soon headed for Chicago to pursue her dream of a career in the fashion industry. She spent many happy years at Marshall Field’s & Co. in many capacities in women’s fashion accessories. She later moved to New York City, where she co-owned a boutique chain selling high-end costume accessories. Linda also worked, consulted, and designed for several well-respected fashion companies prior to her retirement. Along the way, she enjoyed numerous adventures and made countless friends around the world due to her travels. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Carl Dickey, niece Allison Loprich, great-niece Katherine, and great-nephew Benjamin.
