Lester Lucas Jr.

Lester Burton "Luke" Lucas Jr, of Greenwood, Indiana, went home to the Lord on April 22nd, 2025. He was born in Stanford, Kentucky on March 30th, 1947, to his parents, Lester B. Lucas Sr and Virginia Volis, who have preceded him in death. He was a brother to Francis Rexroat and VD Lucas, who also preceded him in death. Luke is survived by his wife, Connie Smith; his two children, Cary Burton and Julie Ann Lucas; their mother, Vivian; his other children, Robbie and Natalie Smith; his brother-in-law, Mike Rexroat; and his nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. LB is also survived by man's best friend, his dog, Lilly.

LB was veteran who proudly served and was a member of the American Legion Post #252. He was also a general manager at Wabash Ford Truck Sales, where he was the top salesman in the country for a number of years. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time gardening or golfing. He also liked a little excitement, as he also enjoyed riding motorcycles and gambling. He loved his family farm in Kentucky and being with his loved ones. He will be sorely missed by friends and family.
