Larry E. Robertson, 73, of Shelbyville, IN, passed away peacefully at his home on December 29, 2025. Born on December 26, 1952, in Shelbyville, he was the beloved son of Paul and Myrtie Robertson.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Holly Robertson (Wendell Stewart), along with his cherished grandchildren: Tatum Robertson, Leila Stewart, Brayden Stewart, Joel Stewart, Kaitlyn Bowman, and Alex Arrowood. He will also be remembered by his longtime girlfriend, Rebecca Moffet. Larry's memory will be honored by his siblings, including his brothers Robbie and Rock Robertson, and his sisters Mala (Ron) Corley and Deena (Ron) Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Matthew Robertson, his daughter Shelley Robertson, and his grandson Samuel Robertson.
A proud graduate of Shelbyville Senior High School in 1970, Larry dedicated a significant part of his career to serving his community. He worked at the Post Office in Hope, IN, from 1975 to 1985 and later at Kustom Kourier from 1987 to 1998.
Larry was known for his kindness and willingness to lend a hand. He enjoyed spending time fixing cars and engaging in various projects with his son, Matt. His adventurous spirit earned him the title of a "jack of all trades." He found immense joy in the company of his grandchildren and cherished family gatherings, especially playing poker.
Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be announced in the near future.
