Lake Pollock Sr. passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on July 12, 1936 in Kemper, Mississippi. He was a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana. Lake was a very hardworking man. He worked for BFI Waste Management until he retired, and even went back to work there after retirement.

Lake is survived by his siblings, Alonzo Pollock, C.W. Griffin, Rubye Mae Clemons, Johnnye Ruth Davis and Sylvia Ann Vaughan; grandchildren, Patrick Weaver, Ashley Weaver, Sara Davis and Alex Pollock; and 8 great grandchildren. Lake was preceded in passing by his wife, Ora Lee Pollock; son, Lake Pollock Jr.; and his parents, Quincy Pollock and Bessie Griffin.
