Krista Marie Jemison

Krista Marie Jemison, 38, of Pendleton, passed away unexpectedly February 26, 2024.  She was born August 12, 1985 in Frankfort, IN, to Rick and Pamela (Burnette) Mithun.  Krista attended Frankfort Christian Heritage School in Frankfort, IN and then was homeschooled her remaining years while her parents were missionaries in the Dominican Republic.  She received a bachelor’s degree from Grace College.  She married Matthew Jemison and was an office administrator for Teipen CPA Firm.

Krista was a longtime and active member of Lifeway Church where she volunteered in the children’s ministry.  She was also active in the faith-based support group “Moms in the Making”.  In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Krista is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Christopher Jemison; parents, Rick and Pam Mithun of Westfield; sister, Karis Mithun of Westfield; two aunts: Susette (Mithun) Bokelman of Muncie and Vicki Greeno of Frankfort; two uncles: Philip Burnette, Frankfort and Dean Burnette of Veedersburg; and one nephew, Joshua Bokelman.

Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2024 from 11-1 followed by the service at Lifeway Church, 3500 E Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN.
