Korryn Marlene Davidson Starkel
72, of Pendleton, passed on February 14, 2022. Marlene was born on January 21, 1950, in Anderson, IN to late Edgar and Wilma (Cox) Luther. She was a graduate of Madison Heights High School and went on to college to obtain her master’s degree in accounting. Marlene retired from United Way in 2011 after many years of service.
Marlene was a C.A.S.A. member for many years and loved helping others by advocating for them. She was a Kiwanis Member for 25 years. She loved arranging flowers and spending time with her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her giving & loving nature.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Sam Beaver) Hanna; daughters in love, Nancy (Todd) Shepard, Nikki (Ronnie) Gullion; grandchildren, Leeann McGuire, Isaac McGuire, Lynsie Struthers, Justin Lewis, Allison Lewis, Levi Shepard, Mya Shepard, Macie Jones, Kinley Gullion, Kage Gullion, Aubrey Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
Marlene is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Davidson; second husband, John Starkel; sisters, Candace Morgan, and Barbara Starkel.
A Celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
