Kimmy Jo Ford

Kimmy Ford, age 67, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 28, 1959, to Bobby Joe Rose and Betty June Rose.

Kimmy was preceded in death by her mother, Betty June Rose.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Ernest Ford; her devoted son, Shawn Richard Ford; her two brothers, Robert Rose and Steve Rose; and her three beloved grandchildren, Avery, Bailey, and Emma, who were among the greatest joys of her life.

Kimmy had a generous heart, a strong spirit, and a way of making people feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. She loved her family deeply, but her love did not stop there. She cared for friends, friends of family, and so many others who were blessed to receive her kindness.

She will be remembered for her compassion, her laughter, her strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and the memories she created with family and friends will be cherished forever.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

A memorial service and celebration of Kimmy’s life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Indiana Funeral Care West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis 46224. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. with a small service at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to the American Legion Post #64, 601 S. Holt Road, Indianapolis 46241 following the service to continue celebrating Kimmy.
