Kimberly A Lee

April 13, 1974 — March 27, 2022

On March 27th, 2022, Kimberly Lee died peacefully in her home in Indianapolis, Indiana. For 47 years she changed the lives of the friends and family she gained along her journey to become the beautiful woman she is today.

Kim is known for having a soul made of resilience, compassion, bravery, and a profound amount of love and generosity. She loved poetry, music, driving and travel: seeking adventure in every which way, whether it be relationships, friendships, or the world itself. Kim wishes to be known as a beautiful, strong mother who would do anything for her children and family.

Kim is survived by her loving daughter Tristan. Along with her mother Bertie, brother William, and sister Cherryl. Kim is also survived by so many more brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends who will continue the life lessons and generosity she bestowed in her lifetime.

She will now be taking place with her beautiful son Michael and her extremely proud father James. She will continue to love and protect everyone whom she has done for while she was here.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, loves leaves a memory no one can steal,”

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God has laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call.
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left void. Fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now: He set me free.
