Kevin Joseph Ehlers

Kevin Joseph Ehlers, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 25, 2026, after a tough battle with cancer. He was born February 14, 1967, at Hamilton Air Force Base in Novato, CA to Paul Ehlers and Frances (Owens) Ehlers. 

After completing his education he served our country as a SGT in the United States Air Force. He then went on to work as a mechanic. 

Kevin will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, grandpa and friend to many, who had many joys in life. Kevin enjoyed rebuilding classic cars, spending time with his grandkids and watching dirt track racing down at circle city race way. 

Kevin is survived by his children, David (Melissa) Ehlers, Chelsey (Cam) Estes, Courtney (Dustin) Lawson, Skyler Howard, Mother Frances Ehlers, Brothers Paul (Melissa) Ehlers, Brian Ehlers and 8 grandchildren. Who will all miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Paul John Ehlers.
