Kevin R. Downs

70, of Frankfort, passed away on October 10th, 2026.

Kevin dedicated his life to hard work as a truck driver, but he also knew how to enjoy the things that brought him happiness. In his free time, he loved playing golf, riding ATVs, and watching his favorite shows. He had a love for music of all kinds and a special gift for making up silly nicknames for nearly every member of his family, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Downs and Sara Downs.

He is survived by his children: Vanessa (Patrick) Leboehi, Lindsay (Jesse) Valencourt, Graham (Lindsey) Downs, K. Collin Downs (Brittany Kujawa), Kristen (Jessica) Eimen, and Meghan (Kyle) Brown; his sisters, Kelly Couch, Kara (Steve) Tsuleff, Kristie Foxworthy, and Kathy Downs; and his beloved grandchildren: Grace, Kendra, and Jean-Marc Leboehi; Adele, Clara, Edwin, Iain, and Jude Valencourt; Camille Downs; Maddox and Nora Kujawa; Kaydence and Kenzie Brock and Brynn Eimen; and Kowin and Obe Plass and Judson Brown.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, from 9:00-9:30, followed by a Catholic Mass at 9:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow at St. Malachy Cemetery West in Pittsboro, Indiana.
