Kenny Allen Mikesell Sr.
Kenny Allen Mikesell Sr., 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on August 7, 2026. He was born on March 10, 1955, in Indianapolis to Kenneth Mikesell and Barbara Earl.
Kenny was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, where he served with the 101st Airborne Division.
Above all, Kenny loved his family. He enjoyed being surrounded by the people he loved and making memories together. Whether it was fishing, go-kart racing, enjoying the outdoors, or simply spending time together, Kenny was happiest when his family was nearby. He was always on the go, finding somewhere to go or something to do, and he had a love for life and adventure.
Kenny also had a special love for zebras and zebra print. It was one of those unique things that made him who he was and brought a little extra personality to his life. His family will always think of him whenever they see those familiar black-and-white stripes.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Barbara Earl, and stepfather, Ralph; his sons, Kenny Jr. (Leeann) Mikesell and Steven Mikesell; his daughter, Trisha (Bobby) Minnick; his brother, Andrew (Michelle) Mikesell; his sisters, Jenny Williams and Tina Mikesell; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren, who were a cherished part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Mikesell, and his brothers, David Mikesell and Brian Mikesell.
Kenny leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever carry him in their hearts. His love for his family, his adventurous spirit, his love of the outdoors, and even his unmistakable love of zebras and zebra print will always be remembered.
Rest peacefully, Dad. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
