Kenneth 'Ken' George Luetzel

Kenneth “Ken” George Luetzel, 95, of Speedway, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, with his beloved wife, Barbara, by his side. He was born on December 12, 1930, to George and Anne Luetzel in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ken made his home in Speedway for the past 62 years.

Ken graduated from Washington High School, took pride in his service for the United States Army, and enjoyed his time in the Blue Lodge including the York Rite after his retirement from Allison Transmission in Speedway.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Mary 16, 2026 at Indiana Funeral Care West, with visitation following the service. Ken will be laid to rest with military honors at Washington Park East Cemetery following the visitation.

Barbara is thankful for all the calls and visits from family, neighbors, and friends throughout his illness. A special thank you to his doctors, the Compassus Hospice team, and Pastor Roger Penny.
