Kenneth P. “Kenny” Hoffman, 83, of Sharpsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026.
Kenny was born on March 31, 1943, in Northwest Indiana, to Balthazar and Aileen Hoffman. He graduated from Liberty Township High School, where he enjoyed participating in basketball, baseball, and track. His love of sports and his competitive spirit remained an important part of who he was throughout his life.
Kenny was married to his beloved wife, Madeline Hoffman, for 63 years. They were blessed with six children: Glenn, Amy, Gregg, Jimmy, Mark, and Matthew. Kenny and Madeline were also proud grandparents to four grandchildren: Bryce, Ashton, Keagan, and Haley.
Kenny spent more than 30 years working in the steel industry. Following his career in the industry, he continued to share his knowledge and experience as a consultant in the same field. He was respected for his experience, dedication, and understanding of the work to which he devoted much of his professional life.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Madeline; their children, Glenn, Gregg, Mark, and Matthew; their four grandchildren, Bryce, Ashton, Keagan, and Hayley; and his sister, Rosemary Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Balthazar, and Aileen Hoffman; and his siblings, Alan Hoffman, Baldy Hoffman, and Deanna Winquist.
Kenny will be remembered most of all as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His 63-year marriage to Madeline and the family they built together stands as a lasting testament to the life he shared with those he loved.
