Kenneth Earl Stone 95, passed away on December 20, 2019 at Meadow Lakes Assisted Living, Mooresville, IN.

He was born December 17, 1924 in New Albany, IN to Charles and Bertha Stone. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Stone, three step sons – John, William and Richard (Baum), sister Ruth Stone Hadley, and several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth is predeceased by his parents Charles and Bertha, son Eric, sister Joyce Stone Kindred, and brothers Orville and Floyd Stone.

He served in WWII with the US Army’s Battery A, 315 Artillery BN, 80th Infantry Division, and 612th Tank Destroyer BN. He served under General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge.

Kenny settled in Indianapolis after the war where he served as a tradesman with Gates Marble and Tile Company until retirement. He enjoyed bowling, domestic and international travel, helping neighbors, and extending hospitality to family and friends. He was a Pacers and Colts fan, patriot and member of the Zionsville American Legion.

Graveside committal service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250
