Kenneth Wayne Dailey, 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2026, passing away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, on May 11, 1955, Kenneth was the cherished son of the late Elijah Dailey and the late Sara Elizabeth Dailey (née Mabry).

A man of strong work ethic, dedication, and technical skill, Kenneth served as a Certified Electrician at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis for over 30 years before his retirement.

Though Kenneth was never married and had no children of his own, his devotion to his family was absolute. He poured his love into his sister, nephew, and extended family, treating them as his own. Kenneth was also blessed with a vast circle of close friends who valued his warmth, steady presence, and dependable nature.

Grounded in his faith, Kenneth found deep joy in God’s creation. He had a passion for the outdoors and spent many peaceful hours fishing, playing golf, and tending to his vegetable garden. A man of varied talents and quiet patience, he took great pride in cooking for those he loved and maintained a lifelong fascination with keeping tropical fish.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elijah and Sara Elizabeth Dailey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory:

Sister: Tammy Renee Dailey

Nephew: David A. Leeper (Thomika G. Leeper)

Great-Nephew: Cameron Davenport

Step-Great-Niece: Sheree Hunt

Along with a host of extended family members, dear friends, and former colleagues who will miss his kindness and faithful spirit.
