Heaven just gained a fan.

A fan of sports, nature, gardening, pets, cars, and the home he cherished for over 50 years.

Keith Edward Guedel, 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving daughter and son-in-law.

Keith was born on August 13, 1953, to Arthur and Virginia (Dolan) Guedel. He was the youngest of three sons and a lifelong resident of the south side of Indianapolis. He attended St. Mark Catholic School and graduated from Roncalli High School in 1971.

Following high school, Keith developed his skills in various trades, particularly construction. He went on to build a successful career, eventually serving as a construction superintendent. Keith took great pride in his work and the contributions he made to the construction and maintenance of many prominent buildings throughout Indianapolis.

Outside of his career, Keith had a wide variety of interests and a genuine appreciation for the simple things in life. Whether he was cheering on his favorite sports teams, spending time outdoors, tending to his garden, enjoying cars, playing cards, or caring for his pets, Keith found joy in the things he loved. Playing cards remained a favorite pastime, even as his physical abilities became more limited later in life. He was always willing to try new foods and experiences, and his unmistakable voice and laughter could fill any room.

Keith is survived by his daughter, Amy (Todd) Guyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Virginia Guedel, and his two brothers.

Keith will be remembered for his larger-than-life presence, his laughter, and the many things that brought him joy throughout his life.
