Kathryn Clift

Kathryn Clift, 82, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Indianapolis, IN.

Kathryn is survived by her daughters Kathryn Clift, Joyce Clift, and Lisa Clift; grandchildren Kayla Hernandez, Robert Logan Pine, Jessica Pine, Stephanie Pine, John Swinehart, Amber Baugh, Allison Swinehart, and Collin Horn; great grandchildren Joshua Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez,  Emily Hernandez, Arlee Sanchez-Pine, Michael Pine, and Aidenn Pine; and brother, John Borger.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents Joyce Borger and Robert Borger.

Nana loved to cook. Holidays were the best time of year; her house would be full of festive smells. She couldn't walk much so she loved driving everywhere she could. If she wasn't at home, she was out helping someone in the family out with a ride or stopping in to get her favorite biscuits and gravy from Hardee's. Longs donuts was also a frequent stop. She worked many different jobs in her early days but the one that paid nothing was her favorite: raising her three daughters and taking care of her home. She loved listening to both Country and Christian music. Kathryn was more than a grandma to the grandchildren and played an important motherly role in their lives.

Nana was the most selfless person the family has ever known and our family will never be the same without her.
