Kathy Marie Robinson

Kathy Marie (McVey) Robinson, 81, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025. Born on March 31, 1944, Kathy lived a life full of love, warmth, and devotion to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raymond McVey and Helen Cook McVey. She is also reunited in peace with her sisters, Judith Pitzer and Barbara Whitsett, and her brother, Donald McVey.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Darrell Robinson, who stood by her side through life’s joys and challenges with unwavering love and support. She also leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish her memory: her son, Eric Anderson, and his wife, Tricia; daughters, Kimberly Fordyce and her husband, Randy; Lisa Ward and her husband, Scott; Dori Fritz; Karen Patterson and her husband, Brian; and Jennifer Robinson. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Courtney Neff, Cassie Holder, Casey Fordyce, Chelsea Wingler, Levi Wingler, Zach Anderson, Carly Anderson, Elizabeth Jones, Matt Patterson, Chase Patterson, Gordon Springfield, Gavin Springfield, and William "Trey" Springfield.

Her legacy continues in her beloved great-grandchildren: Jace Denney, Isaiah Neff, Jordan Neff, Caleb Neff, James Neff, Hannah Neff, Hunter Harris, Caleb Wingler, Tessa Wingler, Arbor Jones, Emery Fordyce, Conrad Fordyce, Warner Fordyce, Desmond Holder, and Valerie Holder.

Kathy had a long and meaningful career as a Respiratory Therapist and Cardiac Rehab Specialist. Her compassion and dedication to helping others were reflected not only in her professional life but also in her everyday interactions with those around her.

She was an active and joyful presence, known for her love of tennis, bike riding, playing cards, and browsing yard sales. But above all, Kathy’s favorite way to spend her time was in the company of her family and friends. Her kindness, humor, and warmth created lasting memories and deep bonds with everyone she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at the Plainfield Aquatic Center, located at 651 Vestal Road, Plainfield, Indiana 46168. The gathering will begin at 1:00 p.m., with lunch served at 1:30 p.m. All who knew and loved Kathy are warmly invited to attend and celebrate her life, love, and legacy.

Kathy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
