Kathleen Riddle

Kathleen Joan Marshall Guenzel Riddle, best known as Kathy, 72, formerly of Terre Haute, IN, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by loving family and friends, on Tuesday, August 24th, 2021. Kathy was born in Terre Haute, IN to her natural birth parents, William Marshall and Mabel Presl Marshall. When Kathy's natural mother passed at her age of (2) Two
years old she was lovingly raised by her adoptive parents, Roy Guenzel and Leone Presl Guenzel.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Holly; grandchildren, Tyree and Ayla; sisters, Dori Betjemann (Peter) and Mary Lindsey; brother, Patrick Marshall; sister-in-law Michelle Marshall, Her niece's Willa Lauridsen (Keld), Aimee Marshall, nephew’s Rick Lindsey, Peter Betjemann (Julianna), Erik Betjemann (Charmaine), Toby Marshall (Kelly), Jay Marshall (Wendy) Mark Guenzel
(Debbi) and several cousins.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John Marshall and Warren Guenzel, brother-in-law, Rich Lindsey, and sister-in-law Donna Marshall.

Kathy was cared for until her passing by her daughter Holly Riddle. She also was blessed to spend her last years with her two beautiful grandchildren, Tyree and Ayla Griffin. Her grandchildren loved to care for her and called her Granny. Their father, Eddie Griffin was like a special son to Kathy and she loved her family dearly.

Family and friends know that she was a sweet and hard-working woman. Her beautiful, positive, spirit would light up a room. She was also a talented artist and a seamstress. She loved to be out in nature, gardening or baking, and snacking on her favorite, sweet treats. Her famous apple cobbler will be remembered by many.

Memorial contributions may be made to any of the three organizations that cared for Kathleen in her later years.

No visitation or services are scheduled at this time. The family would like to thank all in advance for your support and prayers.
