Justin Lee Wilson, a cherished carpenter, devoted father, and beloved friend, passed away suddenly on April 27, 2026, in Greenwood, Indiana. Born on June 19, 1987, in Henderson, Tennessee, Justin's life journey took him from the vibrant music city of Nashville to the close-knit community of Indiana, where he spent his final years surrounded by those who loved him dearly.

Justin was a skilled craftsman who found great pride and joy in working with his hands. His career as a carpenter was more than just a job; it was a reflection of his dedication, creativity, and passion for building. Every project he undertook carried the hallmark of his meticulous attention to detail and genuine satisfaction in his craft.

Known for his warm-hearted nature, Justin was one of the kindest people anyone could hope to meet. He was ever ready to lend a helping hand and brought light and laughter to all who knew him. Justin shared a close bond with his mother, with whom he shared a spirited sense of humor, always the jokester and master of good-natured pranks that brought smiles to many faces. Central to Justin’s life was his beloved daughter, Lessie Sunshine Wilson, of Greenville, South Carolina, who was the source of his greatest pride and deepest love. He treasured his family connections deeply, including his parents, Stefanie and Travis Rutledge of Greenwood, Indiana, and his biological father, Shawn Conaster, of Nashville, Tennessee. Justin was also fondly connected to his step-grandfather, Jimmie Rutledge of Farmland, Indiana.

The loss of Justin is profoundly felt by many. He is mourned by all those who were fortunate enough to call him a friend, family member, or confidant. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and laughter that will be remembered and cherished by all.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Horton; grandmother, Patricia Horton; and step-grandmother, Evelyn Rutledge. Their memories and the love they shared with him continue to live on in the hearts of those who remain.
