Judith Ann Porter

Judith A. Porter, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2025, at IU Health in Carmel, Indiana. Judi was a proud graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and dedicated more 35 years of service to Sallie Mae, where she was admired for her hard work and commitment.

She had a lifelong love of reading and enjoyed spending time playing board games with family and friends. Judi was also an avid bowler, partying several leagues over the years and forming cherished friendships along the way.

Judi is survived by her daughter Sharli Knotts (husband Robert), her sister Sharon Coate, granddaughters Caitlin Talley (husband Ron) and Kailey Knotts, and two great-grandsons.

Judi’s life was characterized by the deep love and devotion she held for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with them, creating memories that will treasured for generations to come.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald C Porter, her parents Robert and Opal Peace, and her brother Harold Peace.

Judi will be remembered for her warmth, laughter and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
