Judith Lee (Hetler) Korbas

Judith Lee (Hetler) Korbas of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on September 8, 2025. Judy was born on November 30, 1940 in Mansfield, Ohio. She married Thomas Korbas in 1963 and moved to Shelby, Ohio, where she lived for most of her life.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Annette Korbas and Rose Ortiz; three grandchildren, Andrew Ortiz (Kayli), Dominic Ortiz and Rachel Ortiz; two great-grandchildren, Emelia Ortiz and Lucia Ortiz; and a large extended family. Judy was proceeded in death by her husband Tom and by her son Brian Korbas.

Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E. Main St., Greenwood, Indiana from 11:00 am-12:00 pm on Monday September 15th, followed by the rosary.

Visitation will be held at Penwell Funeral Home on September 18th 4:00 pm -7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on September 19th at 10:30 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 29 West Street, Shelby, Ohio, followed by burial at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary School, 26 West St, Shelby, Ohio.
