Juanita S Roney

Juanita S. Roney of Indianapolis, 95, went home to her Savior on Friday, January 17th, 2020. She was born in Indiana and lived her entire life here. She married James C. Roney on October 1st, 1949. Juanita graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. She worked at Real Silk during World War 2, and retired in 1989 from AT&T, after being a selector. She was the loving mother of three children, Karen Boyer, Sharon Northington and David Roney. She was also a grandmother of three, Libby of Indianapolis, Bonny of Gosport and Samantha of Indianapolis. She had the thrill of becoming a great grandmother to her first great grandchild, Marcus Jr., in 2018.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Jim Roney, her parents, Lon and Ella Simerly, and her two sisters, Janet Coletto and Laversa Glassburn (Bobbie).
