Joyce Elaine Stansberry

Joyce Elaine Stansberry (Hall) opened her eyes in heaven May 24, 2025, at 11:27 p.m. She was born October 17, 1947, to Herman Allen and Shirley Mae (Quinn) Hall in Kokomo, In. On October 24, 1969, she married Kenneth David Stansberry and together they raised 4 children; Jennifer Stansberry, Kathleen (Jim) James, Johnna Stansberry (Barbara McIntire) and Michael (Tracy) Stansberry.

Joyce was a graduate of Kokomo High School and worked at General Motors until she retired after 40+ years. She was a member of the Kappa Master chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She loved spending time with and taking care of her family, above all else. She also enjoyed going to Beef and Boards dinner theatre, traveling, attending auctions with her husband and sister, playing cards in a family euchre club and watching the Hallmark channel. Joyce loved animals and had many pets over the years. She collected glassware and antiques.

She is survived by her brothers Michael (Mick) Hall and Dennis (Mary) Hall, brother in-law Kenneth Shutt; Sisters in-law Cecelia Stansberry and Nikki Hall Rotter, daughter Jennifer Stansberry, stepdaughter Kathleen (Jim) James, Granddaughters Hannah Stansberry, Tara (Steve) Gillespie, Jessie (Wes) Newton, Mary (Jennings) Banter, Brandon Stansberry, Jacob (Sarah) Stansberry and Jaime (Andrea) McIntire, Niece Sarah (Sungjin)Park and Nephew Nathan (Courtney) Shutt, she had 7 great grandchildren, and many more nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Stansberry, Sister Carol (Hall) Shutt Brother in-law Thomas Stansberry, Stepson Michael Stansberry, Stepdaughter Johnna Stansberry, Barbara McIntire and niece Tracy (Hall) Van Dinter.
