John Whobrey

John Whobrey, 71, passed away on December 24, 2023, in Terre Haute, IN.

John Whobrey was born on January 7, 1952, in Louisville, KY, to Everett Whobrey and Susie Whobrey.

John married his wife, Donna on January 21, 1977, in Indiana. John started his own construction company and worked until retirement.

John is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Shawn (Dane) Covey of Gosport; grandchildren, Kory Hoffman, and Justice Byers; great-grandchildren, Lucas Hoffman, and Elliott Hoffman; son, Jared Franklin, daughter-in-law, Justice Henry; grandchildren, Samuel Franklin, Zoey Franklin; brother, David Whobrey; niece, Trixie Woodard.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Susie Whobrey; and son, Joby Franklin.

The memorial gathering for John will be at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with the service starting at 7:00 PM.
