John Marvin Gorbett Jr.

John M. Gorbett Jr, of Indianapolis, died on Thursday, October 28th, 2021, at the age of 74. He was born on Saturday, November 9th, 1946, to John and Minnie Gorbett.

John retired from Ford Motor Company as a machine repairman. He continued to run his own business for many years after he retired. He loved his job and cherished the friendships he maintained from there. He loved to entertain and spend time with family and friends. John was a noble, loving man with a heart of gold. He never judged and always saw the good in others. He was one of a kind who will be dearly missed. We will forever cherish our time we had here with him and be grateful for all the wonderful memories he gave us all. May he Rest in Peace now and know how much he was loved.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5th, at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. A visitation will be from 3pm until 5pm, followed by a memorial service at 5pm.
