John "Fred" Bower

John Frederick Bower, 70, of Indianapolis passed away suddenly on April 25th.

John (Fred) was a proud lifelong resident of the east side of Indianapolis.

He attended Scecina Memorial Hs and Ball State University.

Fred was well known as the manager of Shi-Kay Lounge for many years, and as the owner of Fred Bower Painting.

Fred is preceded in death by his wife Sara (Molloy) Bower, Parents Winnifred and William Bower and sister Margaret Baase.

Fred is survived by his daughter Melissa Anderson, sisters: Sue (Carmen) Grap, Ann (Mike) Holmes, brothers: Mike (Diane) Bower, Pat (Lynn) Bower, Brother in law Andy Baase and his many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. As well as, the many friends that he considered family

Services will be Wednesday, May 6th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation from 10 – 12 with the Mass at noon. Following Mass there will be a celebration of life at Shi-Kay Lounge.
