Jody Ann Bridges passed from this life surrounded by family at 4:31am on October 5, 2026 after a year long battle with cancer.

Jody lit up every room she walked into and she never met a stranger. She was quick to become one of your very best friends. She was always able to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Jody was always looking out for everyone around her, she would give you the shirt off her back without question and would expect nothing in return. Everyone who knew her says she was kind, caring, funny and one of the best people they knew. For everyone she loved and that loved her, Jody’s passing has left a hole that can never be filled.

Jody is survived by her Daughter Trisha Bridges, her father and bonus mom Jerry and Janice (Bacon) Brummett, her brother James Brummett, her sister Sandra Arthur, her niece Ashley (Jonathan) Wagner, Nephew Anthony (Katie) Ridgell, and her great niece and nephews Anna, Daniel and Connor

She was preceded in death by her mother Dottie Rash, her paternal grandparents Pauline and Edward Brummett, her maternal grandmother Dorthy Thomas and her brother Johnny Brummett

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Jody‘s name
