Noblesville

Jimmie Roberts, husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed chef, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Noblesville, Indiana. He was born on July 21, 1956, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to James and Helen (Langford) Roberts.

Jimmie is survived by his ever enduring wife, Pamela (Cherry) Roberts, with whom he shared many years of companionship. He is survived by his brothers Jeffrey (Monica) Roberts and John (Marsha) Roberts. His children, Christina (Charles) Utley and Catherine Roberts. His grandchildren, Sophia, Preston and Caroline, brought him immeasurable joy and were the light of his life.

In his youth, Jimmie served his country with honor as a member of the Air Force during the Vietnam era. Following his service, he embarked on a journey into the music business, where he spent his young adult years. However, it was in his twenties that he discovered his true passion for the culinary arts. This passion led him to pursue a career as an executive chef, where he garnered numerous awards and accolades for his culinary expertise.

Despite his at-times cantankerous nature, Jimmie made a lasting impression on all who crossed his path as a character with an infectious sense of humor and excellent work ethic. Despite life's challenges, he found solace and peace in his faith, ultimately finding comfort in his relationship with God and his belief in Jesus Christ, especially in his final days before succumbing to heart failure.

His interment will take place at Marion National Cemetery. Per Jimmie’s wishes there will be no memorial or burial services.
