Jerry Taylor

Jerry L Taylor was born to JT Jackson and Virgie Harris, in West Point Mississippi. Jerry left home at the age of 16 and went to Jacksonville FL. After that he moved to Michigan, then went to Wichita KS where he had his daughter. After moving, one more time, he ended up in Indianapolis IN. There he met and married De in 1998 and retired from Wonder Bread in 2012.

               Jerry loved people, he loved to feed them. Some of his favorite things were dressing up and his cars.

               Jerry is preceded in death by his parents JT Jackson and Virgie Wilson; and his grandmother, Susie Taylor.

               Jerry is survived by his wife Delois Taylor, daughters Cheree Kelly and Chaundra Bailey; grandchildren Xavier Kelly, Elijah Kelly, Trey Gray III, Joshua Bailey and Samone Young; siblings Joyce Taylor Reed (Robert), Joseph Davis (Antoinette), Mae Pinex (Robert), Woodrow Wilson, Hosea Wilson, Anthony Wilson (Angela), Eddie Holton, Leatha Burney and Betty Cooperwood.
