On March 29, 2026, Jerry Lowther,Sr., entered into the presence of the Lord, for whom he longed to see.
Born January 23, 1943 to Jewel Lowther and Annabelle (Manley). He is survived by his wife of 50 years Darlene, sisters, Anna Montgomery, and Betsy Harrold and her husband Don and sons Jerry And Sean. Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Boyer( husband David Boyer). He was always looking forward to their heavenly reunion. Jerry is the grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of three.
After receiving Jesus, as his savior, he constantly grew in his walk with his Lord. His one desire was to see souls saved, especially those of law-enforcement, fire departments and the military.
Along with his family, another joy in his life was a mission trip to San Louis Potosi to train their law enforcement in S.W.A.T skills. Jerry's central mission was to lead those in attendance to Christ. Although the higher altitude caused the need for him to return home, he cherished every moment. This training was for 480 Mexican federal officers.Praise God, there were 461 professions made for Christ!
Jerry was a great prayer warrior, and it was his joy to be able to pray for anyone with any need. He loved visiting with people. He would tell stories of his past with childhood friends. These friends were like his brothers. He also enjoyed re-telling those stories; and ones of his time as a police officer, to new friends.
He will be missed, but not forgotten.
