Jerry W. Dane, 59, of Alexandria, IN passed on September 5th, 2026. Jerry was born on June 11th, 1967 in Noblesville, IN. Jerry graduated from Hamilton Heights High School in 1985 before beginning his career. He was a man of all trades and always doing something with his hands rather it be roofing, factory work, tinkering with cars or helping his wife make any and everything crazy idea she had come to life from hand. He was the most hardworking man, he hardly ever gave himself a break to make sure his family was taken care of. He was a traveler and loved to visit many places, he even lived in Las Vegas for a period of time, but ultimately Indiana was home where his kids and grandchildren were. He lived a life filled with memories, love, and laughter. Jerry was not only intelligent, creative, funny, but had a way with people that you could only understand if you knew him. There was never a room he was in that he wasn’t the center of attention, but also the one with most character in the whole room. There wasn’t a person he couldn’t make smile with his antics and free personality. He not only had the ability to make everyone smile but also to feel special in their own way. He was the not only the life of the party, he was the center of it. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his wife, family, and friends. He enjoyed driving his race car, fishing with his grand babies, riding his motorcycle, and driving his wife and kids crazy with his larger than life personality. He was also an amazing artist and you were very lucky if you got to see that side of him come out. We will miss his adventures, award winning smile, boisterous personality, but mostly his tremendous love for his family, friends, and anyone else he encountered. He lived life to the fullest and thought that worrying too much got you nowhere. He made sure to always make every memory count and one full of laughter and love for anyone involved. He will truly be missed in ways words could never explain. He was proceeded in death by his father, Paul Dane Sr., his mother, Gwen Watson-Pritchard, and his brother, Paul Dane jr. He was survived in death, by the love of his life, his soulmate, and his best friend, Denise L. Dane; his children, Candice Dane, Tyler Dane, Cody McFarland, and Alyssa McFarland; his pride and joys, his grandchildren, McKenzie, Alivia, Wesley, Adrianna, Duncan, Brooklyn, Alexis, Serenity, Layla, and Ramina; his sister, Julie Dane-Henson along with four nephews, two nieces, and three great nephews. Jerry’s family will be celebrating his life on September 26, 2026 from 12pm-4pm at the American Legion in Noblesville, IN. We love you, we miss you, and you will always be in our hearts. Fly high, and ride harder.
