Jerome Stanton McCoy Jr.

Jerome S. McCoy, 47, of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2021. He was born February 27, 1973 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and grew up in Ohio. After school, Jerome got his barber’s license and was a regular presence several shops on the east side of Indianapolis, where he accumulated a number of clients that over the years had also become friends. When not at the shop, Jerome enjoyed gardening, firing up the barbecue, tending to his fish tanks, and rooting for the Eagles.

He is survived by his parents (Irene and Jerome Sr); long time spouse (Angela); daughters (Twanecia, Daneisha, Ameerah, Antonia, Imani, and Elysia); sons (Jerome “Romey”, Tyler, and Sherman); as well as a grandson (O’vea).

Family members held a private memorial to honor his memory.
