Jenniffer Lynn Brown, age 50, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on September 26, 1975, in Danville, Indiana, to parents Thomas Dunagan and Billie Mae Harris-White. Jenniffer attended Cascade High School (Class of 1994) and later earned her GED. She worked in the restaurant industry for many years, where her passion for cooking and serving others shone brightly. In addition to her work, Jenniffer lovingly provided childcare and babysitting for family and friends, always offering a safe, nurturing environment filled with warmth and laughter.
Jenniffer’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and resilience. She taught those around her what it truly means to give without expecting anything in return. Her light will continue to shine in the lives she touched and the memories she left behind. She was the true definition of selfless, caring, and strong. Her heart was always turned toward others. She spent her life loving, giving, and taking care of those around her. Whether it was a home-cooked meal, a warm hug, or a listening ear, Jenniffer had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved. Her passion for cooking was one of the many ways she showed her love to others. Feeding people brought her joy—not just because of the food itself, but because it meant bringing everyone together. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and love.
Jenniffer’s greatest pride and joy were her children: Zachary Brown (Alexia), Jaylynn Brown, and Zayne Brown
Her grandchildren: Brenleigh Brown, Ryleigh Brown, and Nova Power, who will forever carry her strength and kindness in their hearts.
She is also survived by her loving boyfriend, Marvin Sanders, who stood by her side through every moment with unwavering devotion; her cousin Mechelle Lantrip (Bill), who shared countless memories with her and stood beside her through both laughter and pain, offering love, comfort, and strength; her mother Billie Mae White; and two brothers: Douglas Dunagan (Samantha) and Brandon Dunagan (Jennifer), along with 3 nieces and 3 nephews; Abby, Maggie, Mackenzie, Dylan, Caden & Brody.
