Jeanne Frances Piersall

November 5, 1945 — June 21, 2025

Indianapolis

Jeanne Frances Piersall, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2025, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Her strength and unwavering faith in the face of illness were a testament to the resilient spirit she carried throughout her life.

Jeanne was talented in many ways and led a full life. She loved horseback riding, ice skating, singing, and dancing. She was also a published writer, business owner, realtor, an Account Executive for The Southsider Voice, and our favorite comedian.

More than that, though, she was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. The only thing she loved more than her family was serving her God, Jehovah. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 20, 1991, and spent countless hours joyfully and wholeheartedly volunteering in the Christian ministry.

Jeanne was born on November 5, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Donald and Pearl Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest brother, Richard. She is survived by her brothers, Jim (Linda) Williams and Bill (Rhonda) Williams, and her three children: Greg (Cathy) Piersall, Jennifer (John) Leschig, and Matthew Piersall; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

We love her and will miss her every day.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25, at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 1239 E Stop 12 Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m.
