Jeanne Lee Owens

Jeanne Lee Owens, 77, of Fishers, IN, joined the Lord’s Kingdom on January 4, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born on December 15, 1947, in Columbus, IN to Robert and Norma Hoffman, Jeanne was a devoted wife, extraordinary mother, loyal sister, fun-loving aunt, and cherished grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Christopher, (Jessica); and beloved granddaughter, Harper. Jeanne treasured her family and friends, always making time to connect with them through camping, games, storytelling, and dancing. She especially enjoyed sharing spirited and detailed stories about her adventures with her siblings, Debbie, Mel (Wanda), and Kim, as well as her cousins, Linda, Patti, and Carollyn.

Jeanne found joy in spending part of her life in Florida, where she cherished the warm sunshine, listening to Elvis Presley music, and making beautiful memories. She had a passion for playing games, occasional visits to a casino, and celebrating life with those she loved most.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael William Owens; her parents, Robert and Norma Hoffman; her brother-in-law, Gary Irwin; and her nephew, Jeffrey Smith.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46250. A memorial dinner will follow at 7:30 p.m. at Sangrita Grill and Cantina, 11547 Yard St. #810 Fishers, IN 46037
