Jeanette Marie Storm, a compassionate soul whose warmth and creativity touched many lives, was born on May 10, 1942, in Durand, Michigan. She passed away on December 2, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, leaving behind a legacy of love, talent, and dedication.

A proud graduate of Swartz Creek High School in Michigan in 1960. She also attended The International Institute of Interior Design in 1963. Jeanette took her first steps into the professional world with the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington D.C. Her journey did not end there; she found her passion as a Paralegal, dedicating over ten years to serving as the President of the Paralegal Association of Baltimore City. Through her work, she not only honed her professional skills but also enriched the lives of those around her.

It was in Washington D.C. where she met her beloved husband, Ronald Dean Storm. Their romance blossomed, culminating in marriage on December 28, 1963. After their marriage, Ron pursued a career in federal service with the National Security Agency, a position that took the family around the world. Jeanette embraced the adventure of this life, experiencing the rich cultures of Japan, England and many other countries alongside her loving husband and their son, Michael. Together, they traveled extensively, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Jeanette's passions extended beyond her professional accomplishments. She possessed an extraordinary talent for quilting, a hobby that brought her immense joy. Over the years, she not only created beautiful quilts but also shared her knowledge and skills with others, teaching quilting in Trafalgar, Indiana, and spreading her love for the craft as an active member of Coffee Cup Quilting. Additionally, Jeanette was an enthusiastic scrapbooker, pouring her creativity into more than 30 scrapbooks that captured the essence of her family's cherished moments.

Jeanette is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Dean Storm; her loving son, Michael W. Storm (Rachel); stepchildren, Robin Riegsecker and Aubrey Storm; and her cherished granddaughter, Caela Gamez. She is also mourned by her brother, Bill Wykes (Mary).

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth E. Wykes and Nellie Mae (Judson) Hewitt, and her stepdaughter, Terree Storm.

In a world that often moves too fast, Jeanette Marie Storm stood as a beacon of love, creativity, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she cherished, reminding us to embrace our passions, nurture our relationships, and savor every moment.
