Jayden Alan Kazmirski

October 5, 2006 — April 29, 2025

Fortville, IN

With broken hearts and immense sorrow, we announce the passing of Jayden Kazmirski, who tragically took his own life on April 28, 2025, at the age of 18. His life, though far too short, was filled with compassion, determination, and a deep desire to serve and protect.

Jayden will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Michael and Kimberly Kazmirski; his brother, Jordan Kazmirski of Fortville; and his sister, Cassie Beaman (DeMerchant), her husband Eric, and his cherished niece, their daughter Elladie, all of Noblesville.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Diane Rolston (Dickens) of Fortville; his grandparents, Michael and Linda Kazmirski (Landaw); and uncle Roger, all of Mishawaka. He is mourned by his uncle Brian Andrews and cousins Liam and Jax of Plymouth. His great aunt and uncle, second and third cousins, and his beloved girlfriend, Kaylei Kambouris, who also grieve his loss and holds his memory close to their hearts.

Jayden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Andrews, and his great-grandparents.

A junior at Mt. Vernon High School, Jayden was passionate about law enforcement and heavily involved in the school’s Criminal Justice program, which he was set to complete by year’s end. He was a proud member of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department Explorers Program and represented his school to earn semi-state honors for his work in the field. Jayden being an excellent marksman, was an active and skilled member of the school’s Trap Club.

His dedication and excellence in the field led him to earn certifications in jail procedures, CPR, first aid, and non-lethal defense training, including pepper spray. He was also working toward FEMA certification. All leading to his dream to serve with the Sheriff’s Department and make a difference in his community.

Jayden recently started a job at AutoZone in Anderson, where he was warmly welcomed and appreciated by coworkers for his friendly, hardworking nature. Known for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need, Jayden brought light to many lives.

A country boy at heart, Jayden loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed golfing, and had a special connection to animals. He was an animal lover of all kinds, and he will be deeply missed by his loyal cat Lucy and his sweet dog Pumpkin, who were constant companions and dearly loved.

Though Jayden bravely battled depression throughout his life, his legacy will not be defined by that struggle. Instead, he will be remembered for his compassion, strength, and the service he brought to those around him. He is now at peace in heaven, surrounded by love.

Jayden will be forever missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched more than words can express.

A Celebration of Life for Jayden will be held on Friday, May 9th, at the Fortville Church of the Nazarene, 701 S Maple St, Fortville, IN 46040.

There will be a gathering from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a Celebration Service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, beginning with a special tribute by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department Explorers Club.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Indiana Funeral Care. You may leave messages of condolence, send flowers, or share memories on Jayden’s obituary page and pictures at Indiana Funeral Care’s website.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations may be made to organizations supporting teen mental health and suicide prevention, to help other young lives in Jayden’s honor or donations be made to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department Explorers Club and dog training.
