Jason Eugene Collier, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 5th 2024. He was born on October 25, 1968, in Franklin, IN. Jason had an adventurous spirit and a passion for the outdoors. His favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing, cooking, exploring new music, and remodeling. He had a knack for fixing anything mechanical and loved being on the water, whether swimming or on a boat. Jason had a discerning ear for music and cherished clear starry nights with music around a campfire. When it came to food, he enjoyed the classic steak and potatoes, corn on the cob, or really anything he could throw on the grill or in the smoker. Among his favorite bands was ACDC, but he had an eclectic taste in music that was as vast as the open water. As a licensed plumber, Jason was skilled in his profession and took pride in his work, leaving a reputation for his exceptional abilities and attention to detail. Jason is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Collier (Alex Zobrist) and Samantha Collier; his grandson, Theo Zobrist; his sisters, Juli Collier (Scott Erickson) and Janet Moore (Rob Moore),step sisters Lisa Clark (Nick Clark) and Megan Caffrey; his nieces and nephews Amy Kimes (Justin Kimes), Evan Crooks, Eric Moore and Burke Moore, Andrew Clark and Hailey Clark and his step-mother, Linda Collier of Nineveh, IN. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Collier Jr. Their memories of him will forever be cherished. Witty, intelligent, and observant, Jason touched the lives of those around him with his sharp wit and keen insights. He will be remembered for his love for nature, his passion for music, and his affinity for cooking. In honoring his memory, loved ones are encouraged to spend time in the great outdoors, appreciating the beauty of the world around them, just as Jason did. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
