Janet Sue (Lassale) Roe passed quietly at home on March 26, 2022. Born in Morgan County, Indiana on May 17, 1946, to Ramon and Thresea (Prickett) Lassale, who preceded her in death.
Janet spent her entire life living in Morgan County. Janet worked at St. Francis hospital as a practical nurse while continuing her education to receive her RN license, 20 years in total.
Janet leaves behind four children; Russell Todd (Kim) Roe, Shannon Dannette McRee, Jacquiline Rachele (Mark) Mow, and Steffen Troy Roe; sisters, Inga (Jack) Steirwalt and Cathy (Bruce) Crone; brother, Roy Lassale; and grandchildren, Dean C. Mow, Jessica M. Mow, Todd R. Roe, Heather S. Thacker, and Justin McRee; as well as several great-grandchildren and her dearly beloved friend that cared for her until the very end, Whitney Essex.
One sister, Linda K. Johnson, preceded her in death.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
